CSL is looking for excellent Computer Science/Engineering graduates interested to join the PhD program of the Dept. Computer Science and Engineering, University of Ioannina for funded experimental research in systems software.

CSL participates in the research project entitled “Dioni: Computing Infrastructure for Big-Data Processing and Analysis” implemented by the University of Ioannina and funded by the Ministry of Development and Investments, Greece and the European Regional Development Fund.

CSL participates in the project entitled “Web-based Platform for the Automated Early Notification of the General Public and Local Authorities about Severe Weather Events” funded by the “Epirus 2014-2020” Programme.

The outreach support from CSL helps the Arsakeio secondary school of Ioannina with the “Ant” app to get the first position in the virtual enterprise contest of Junior Achievement Greece held in Thessaloniki.

CSL is partner in the Homore project of the “Epirus 2014-2020” programme in collaboration with SenseWorks Ltd and Omega Technology.

CSL participates in the OFIDIA 2 project of the Interreg “Greece-Italy 2014-2020” programme. A productive kickoff meeting took place in Lecce, May 7-8th, 2018.

CSL contributes to the Greek edition of the award-winning textbook Engineering Software as a Service: An Agile Approach Using Cloud Computing by A. Fox and D. Patterson.

The Computer Systems Laboratory at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Ioannina is officially established with Gov. Gaz. No 4061/19-12-2016.

Andromachi Hatzieleftheriou joins the Systems and Networking Group, Microsoft Research in Cambridge, UK as research intern.
