The Computer Systems Laboratory at the Department of Computer Science and Engineering, University of Ioannina is officially established with Gov. Gaz. No 4061/19-12-2016.
Ofidia 2 kickoff
CSL participates in the OFIDIA 2 project of the Interreg “Greece-Italy 2014-2020” programme. A productive kickoff meeting took place in Lecce, May 7-8th, 2018.
Arsakeio secondary school outreach
The outreach support from CSL helps the Arsakeio secondary school of Ioannina with the “Ant” app to get the first position in the virtual enterprise contest of Junior Achievement Greece held in Thessaloniki.
Homore project approval
CSL is partner in the Homore project of the “Epirus 2014-2020” programme in collaboration with SenseWorks Ltd and Omega Technology.
Ofidia project public event
The results of the Ofidia Greece-Italy Interreg EU-cofunded project have been demonstrated in an open public event held at the Technical Chamber of Greece in Ioannina, Greece [public version of Online Precision Weather Forecast for N.W. Greece].
A. Hatzieleftheriou joins MSR (first appointment)
Andromachi Hatzieleftheriou joins the Systems and Networking Group, Microsoft Research in Cambridge, UK as research intern.
G. Margaritis joins CERTH (first appointment)
Giorgos Margaritis joins the Information Technologies Institute of the Centre for Research & Technology Hellas (CERTH) in Thessaloniki, Greece as post-doctoral researcher.
